Fall Newsletter

Happy fall, sisters!

As the Family Church Women’s Ministry Leadership Team discussed and prayed over what we should focus on this year in women’s ministry, one theme kept coming up: connection.

As busy women, connecting with Jesus and each other can often prove challenging. During the last two years, it is even gotten harder as means of physical connection have been limited. We have found ourselves so thirsty for Jesus and fellowship.

For the 2021-2022 year, Family Church Women’s Ministry wants to help quench that thirst. We will be encouraging our women to connect and equip you with a variety of ways to do so. Whether listening to our podcast, reading our blog, encouraging each other on our social media sites, attending our events, or being a part of our Bible studies – let’s dive deeper into connection and hold fast to our mission of being women helping women find and follow Jesus.

Here are a few of those ways to get connected:

The Well: A connection hub for Family Church’s Women’s Ministry, The Well is an umbrella over the podcast, blog, social media, and events. The Well symbolizes a place for women to come and gather – whatever season and stage of life – with our Living Water at the center. Check our website for all the latest and make sure to follow these sites:

Flourish & Connect: Be on the lookout for a trio video series called FLOURISH AND CONNECT.  We will release one per week starting the week of October 10.   Each video looks at different aspects of our relationships.  You can check them out on the Women’s page of our website and our social media sites.

Flourish:  Flourish is our women's mentoring program which will be starting soon. This is where we, as women, build a one-on-one relationship with someone who is at a different stage of life. We explore scripture together, learn how to love and follow Jesus, and openly share our life together to help one another grow. Come join us on this year-long relational journey. The application process will begin October 3 - sign up here.

The Well Spring Retreat: Save the date for Family Church’s Women’s Retreat, April 22-24, 2022, at Aldersgate Retreat Center in Turner, Oregon. Hotel-like rooms ($185 per person) and dorm rooms available ($120 per person). Registration will begin early 2022. If you are interested in being on the retreat planning team, please reach out to Diane Dunas dunasfam@gmail.com.

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14

With much love, Your Family Church Women’s Leadership Team
